Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities

The requirement is for a techno functional role for a prospective candidate who possesses strong visualization, solutioning and believes in creating innovative alternative solutions to any business problem.

• Must have proven experience as a Business Analyst/lead in client deployments for Financial/Payments industry.
• Must be able to elaborate, specify and document the business & functional requirements for a software platform.
• Ability to own a product and manage end to end UAT of the same along with identification of scope of improvement/improvisation of the same.
• Must play a key role in supporting delivery/Engg team of solutions through the SDLC/PDLC, communication across the internal stakeholders and business partners.
• Maintain the Requirements documents and update it regularly for all clients.
• Proven ability to understand, validate and document business requirements as functional and system specification documents and translate them into a technical solution.
• Be a key player in a project and drive the client engagement role with the client team. Convert the business requirements to functional requirements. Strong ability to visualise the end solution (in system) before developing it.
• Responsible for functional requirement study and Gap Analysis.
• Create Solution Flow based on client requirement.
• Willing to understand and learn new systems.
• Should possess good market research and competitor analysis skills.
• Ability to multitask and flexible to take up different tasks and assignments.
•Author/Review CR (Change Request), PRD, White Paper, Solution Document and various use-case flows. Adhere to standard specification format like Use Cases, technical/functional specifications, functional test cases, user stories, UX & wireframes. Strong documentation and visualizing skills.
• Ensure understanding of current state and proposed future state to identify differences and needs to be addressed.
• Ability to brainstorm ideas for a solution to a problem. Display abilities to work in a team.
• Ability to handle team of 2-4 members to undertake and execute allocated project to successful closure.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Work experience and educational background that a candidate should have when applying for the position

• 7-9 years of experience as Business Analyst.
• Experience of handling team size of 2-4 members or more.
• Ability to relate problem statement with real life scenarios and provide more practical and cost effective solution.
• Technical background preferred but not necessary.
• Basic understanding of Finance.

Role and Responsibilities

The Product Manager employed will join the Product management team that is involved in Customer Solutioning.

Obopay has two teams under Product management.

1) Managing the Product Platform
2) Customer Solutioning

BAU (Business As usual) responsibilities

Assist BD and Sales team to solutionize the market requirements by understanding the problem statement and providing alternate technical solutions to able to devise the most appropriate solution to any business problem. Create business presentations to assist the BD & Sales team for various client presentations.
Help conduct Brain storming sessions with the BD & Sales team
Provide enough knowledge source to the Marketing team to help author blog articles, whitepapers etc.
Maintain the Solution Collaterals and update it regularly. Devise generic solutions to help funnel solutions into product offerings.
Proven ability to understand, validate and document business requirements as functional and system specification documents and translate them into a technical solution. Responsible for functional requirement study and Gap Analysis
Additionally, may need to author/review Product Requirement documents (PRD) and CR(Change request). Adhere to standard specification format like Use Cases, technical/functional specifications, functional test cases, user stories, UX & wireframes.
Ensure understanding of current state and proposed future state to identify differences and needs to be addressed.

LEAD LEVEL EXPECTATIONS

Strong visualization, solutioning capability and believes in creating innovative alternative solutions to any business problem. Ability to brainstorm ideas for a solution to a business problem.  Strong ability to visualise the end solution (in system) before developing it.
Managerial experience in leading teams. Prior experience in grooming juniors to next level and guiding by experience. Display abilities & right attitude to work in a team. Ability to exhibit strong team player experience while dealing with cross functional teams.
The candidate must be a subject matter expert for payment products, especially on the competitive landscape, and will be leveraging their competitive intelligence into defining product features which will add to company’s differentiation in the industry.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCY

Prior experience of market research, competitive analysis and payment industry experience. Awareness of newer market trends in Banking and Finance industry India and Global.
Awareness of usage of Blockchain, Machine Learning, AI and cryptocurrency platforms.
Awareness and preferably working experience in CBS(Core Banking) related systems and CMS(Card management) with experience in Credit Card Life cycle & transaction processing.
Prior experience of creating simple solutions for complex problems in Financial and Payment industry. Knowledge of FMCG will be added advantage.
Working knowledge of API Banking.

• Years of Experience: 10-13 years (Preferred working experience in Retail payments, Card management systems, Payment Switching platforms, Merchant acquisition systems, Payment Gateway, Loans, Channel Banking etc)

• Knowledge to use MS Visio, Microsoft word. Microsoft Office etc will be an added advantage.
•Exposure to the product management process and subsequent project execution processes.

•Ability to solutionize a problem and arrive at multiple best case alternatives for a techno-functional problem.

I.e. Night Shift – Occasional Weekend and/or evening, extension of time.
