Job Description
Role and Responsibilities

  • The requirement is for a techno functional role for a prospective candidate who possesses strong visualization, and believes in creating innovative alternative solutions to any business problem.
  • Must have proven experience as a Business Analyst in client deployments for Financial/Payments industry.
  • Must be able to elaborate, specify and document the business & functional requirements for a software platform.
  • Must play a key role in supporting delivery/Engg team of solutions through the SDLC/PDLC, communication across the internal stakeholders and business partners.
  • Maintain the Requirements documents and update it regularly for all clients.
  • Proven ability to understand, validate and document business requirements as functional and system specification documents and translate them into a technical solution.
  • Be a key player in a project and drive the client engagement role with the client team. Convert the business requirements to functional requirements. Strong ability to visualise the end solution (in system) before developing it.
  • Responsible for functional requirement study and Gap Analysis.
  • Author Product Requirement documents (PRD) and CR (Change request). Adhere to standard specification format like Use Cases, technical/functional specifications, functional test cases, user stories, UX & wireframes. Strong documentation and visualizing skills.
  • Ensure understanding of current state and proposed future state to identify differences and needs to be addressed.
  • Ability to brainstorm ideas for a solution to a problem. Display abilities to work in a team.
  • Must be able to prepare documentation for product’s marketing collateral, product collateral and product/user guides.
  • Ability to design API implementation guides.
  • Must be able to perform Product UAT.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities combined with superior presentation skills. Role entails making customer presentations as and when needed.

  • Must elaborate, specify and document the business & functional requirements for a product and help juniors devise solutions.
  • Must play a key role in supporting delivery/Engg team of solutions through the SDLC/PDLC, communication across the internal stakeholders and business partners.
  • Maintain the Requirements documents and update it regularly for all clients
  • Proven ability to understand, validate and document business requirements as functional and system specification documents and translate them into a technical solution. The candidate must be a subject matter expert for payment products, especially on the competitive landscape, and will be leveraging their competitive intelligence into defining product features which will add to companies differentiation in the industry. They will be working very closely with the cross-functional engineering teams, to ensure innovative product features are developed rapidly and accurately. They will also support the operations team and continually find ways to improve efficiency and client experience and service.
  • Be a key player in a project and drive the client engagement role with the client team. Convert the business requirements to functional requirements. Strong ability to visualise the end solution(in system) before developing it.
  • Responsible for functional requirement study and Gap Analysis. Author & review Product Requirement documents (PRD) and CR(Change request). Adhere to standard specification format like Use Cases, technical/functional specifications, functional test cases, user stories, UX & wireframes. Strong documentation and visualizing skills.
  • Ensure understanding of current state and proposed future state to identify differences and needs to be addressed.
  • Conduct periodic Product UAT and ability to use abstraction and generalization techniques while defining product features.

LEAD LEVEL EXPECTATIONS

  • Prior experience of building Product platforms from scratch. Was involved in the PDLC of any Product (preferably Banking products) atleast in two major phases of the cycle.
  • Strong visualization, solutioning capability and believes in creating innovative alternative solutions to any business problem.
  • Must have proven experience as a Product Management professional in client deployments for Financial/Payments industry. Must have carried out Product UAT as the Product management team is the first client of the Product Engineering Team. Ability to understand the principles of configuration and rebranding while deploying Product Platforms.
  • Managerial experience in leading teams. Prior experience in grooming juniors to next level and guiding by experience. Ability to exhibit strong team player experience while dealing with cross functional teams.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCY EXPECTIONS

  • Awareness of usage of IoT, Blockchain, Machine Learning, AI and cryptocurrency platforms.
  • Working experience in CBS (Core Banking) related systems and CMS(Card management) with experience in Credit Card Life cycle & transaction processing.
  • Working experience in API Banking.
  • Preferable working experience in Mobile Payment industry
  • Working experience in handling Mobile Channels in products

  • Provide enough knowledge source to the Marketing team to help author blog articles, whitepapers etc.
  • Maintain the Solution Collaterals and update it regularly. Devise generic solutions to help funnel solutions into product offerings.
  • Proven ability to understand, validate and document business requirements as functional and system specification documents and translate them into a technical solution. Responsible for functional requirement study and Gap Analysis
